Sims Kids is a boutique-style childcare and enrichment studio opening this fall in the Woodland Arts District of Lexington, Kentucky. Designed with modern families in mind, at Sims Kids we offer curated play sessions, flexible mini-camp style care, and private rentals—all in a safe, thoughtfully designed space where children can thrive through play, creativity, and connection.

We understand that every family's schedule is unique, so we've created flexible options to join us. From half-day play & learn sessions, to shorter drop-ins, private rentals, and special events, there is always a way to make Sims Kids a part of your week. Each visit invites children to explore, imagine, and thrive in beautifully designed spaces built just for them.
Half-Day Play & Learn
Ages: 1 -5 yrs
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (rotating Tuesdays & Thursdays)
8:30 am - 12:30 pm
These sessions blend open play, sensory exploration, art, and social learning in a bright, engaging studio environment.
Perfect for families seeking a preschool-style rhythm without full-time daycare
Flexible 2-3 hr visits
Short and sweet sessions for families who need flexibility. Each mini-session offers the same thoughtful play environment and guided activities as our longer format, just condensed to fit your schedule.
Ideal for younger toddlers, mid-morning adventures, or little ones just beginning to explore group play.

Policies & Included Details
We keep things simple and flexible for families while maintaining a safe, joyful, and consistent experience for every child
Snacks & Lunch
A snack is included in all sessions.
Parents should pack a labeled lunch for their child to enjoy during the half-day play & learn sessions.
What to Bring
Please pack a labeled water bottle, lunch (for half-days), socks for our shoe-free studio, change of clothes, and any toiletry items your child may need (diapers, wipes,, or pull-ups)
Behavior & Play Guidelines
We encourage kind, cooperative play and gentle hands with friends and materials. Our goal is a calm, creative, and inclusive space for all.
Sibling Discounts
Families recieve 50% off each additional sibling per session. Bundles and passes can be shared between siblings for added flexibility
Bookings & Cancellations
All sessions and events are booked through the HiSawyer app for quick and easy experience. We kindly ask for 24-hour notice for any cancellations- when possible your session can be credited toward a future visit
Photos & Media
We occasionally capture photos of our playful moments for social media and marketing. Please let us know if you prefer your child not be photogprahed - we always respect family privacy.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Doors open 5 minutes before session start time. Please plan for timely pick-up; a 10 minute grace period is offered before late fees or extended care apply
Illness Policy
Children must be free of fever, vomiting, or contagious symptoms for at least 24 hours before attending.
Clean & Safe Play Environment
Our studio is cleaned and sanitized daily, with extra care given to high-touch toys and surfaces. We keep the space fresh, organized, and ready for play so families can feel confident every visit is safe and inviting.
